Additional Staff Time
Additional staff time may be charged for customized experiment setup, consulting, data discussion, data processing, etc.
Additional staff time may be charged if the user fails to clean the instrument or accessories or leaves the bench area not properly cleaned after use.
Discount Rate for External Users
Discounts are available to external users when the following conditions are met:
- In 1 week, if total invoice exceeds $3000, 10% discount is applied
- In 2 weeks, if total invoice exceeds $6000, 15% discount is applied
- In 4 weeks, if total invoice exceeds $9000, 20% discount is applied
Discounts do not stack
Cancellation Policies/Fees
Cancellations/reschedules within 24 hours ahead of the reservation time will be changed for a 1-hour usage fee
For DMA or SAXS experiment, if Liquid Nitrogen is already ordered before the user’s cancellation, said user will be charged for a full tank of Liquid Nitrogen
For drop-off samples, no fees will be charged if the user cancels the reservation
